GUWAHATI: The Guwahati Municipal Corporation (GMC) has prohibited the sale or use of plastic products that could clog the city's drainage system ahead of monsoon. In order to reduce the enormity of urban floods and bring down the pollution level, GMC commissionerPuru Gupta has ordered that no person will be allowed to sell or use plastic cups, plates and similar products.
